I would expect to exit this business within the next five
years. I don’t know that I would be selling it to anyone for a large return but
rather trusting someone else to run it as I pursue a career in sports which is
my true passion. I have chosen this exit strategy because it will give me
enough time to really get the business rolling but allow me to move on to my
real love of sports. I believe this strategy has helped me make my decisions
throughout the semester. I never wanted to create something that I could do
forever because of my dream to work for a sports team. It has helped me see
this as an immediate opportunity and once the idea is in place I will no longer
be needed.

Your exit plan to is the same as mine I also never intended to make or stay with a long term project. I rather pass it off and keep going. I enjoyed reading this post.
ReplyDeleteAlso I hope this plan stays going for young kids going into school to help them make it through.
ReplyDeleteI think everyone in our group chose to sell our concepts instead of keeping them. Like you, I also have interests away from my venture so I have no reason to want to stay with it. As long as you choose someone who is trustworthy and competent runs the program, it should be successful. Good luck pursuing your dream of working for a sports team, hope it works out for you.
